I have read all three of the books in the The Ghost of the Mistreated Canine series (this book being the second) by Tom Marovich. Each and every one of these books is a nicely written story about the way folks should (and should not) treat each other and their animal friends. They would be especially geared towards anyone who appreciates a step back to a more gentle time in the world and would enjoy a relaxing read. Although there are three books int he series, each book can be read individually and each book will make you laugh and cry. Throughout the books the Author has developed his characters and makes you want to continue reading to find out what happens. The books are great moral lessons in how we could all strive to make the world a better place.
